Nili Steinfeld is the head of the digital communications program and the Academic Director of the Institute for the Study of New Media in the School of Communications at Ariel University. She received her M.A. in Political Communication from Hebrew University and her B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Tel Aviv University. Her research deals with the civic and political uses of the internet while using a wide variety of research methodologies including online experiments, the use of eye-tracking devices and digital analytics- Big Data.
