The award is given for an outstanding undergraduate or graduate seminar paper or thesis in the field of Israeli politics

Keren Eilat scholarship

Research-track MA students in political science; PhD students or faculty members in political science

The award is given for research proposals in the field of American Jewry and / U.S.-Israel relations

Applications open in the second semester. Exact dates will be published

Buri scholarship

MA and PhD students

A joint scholarship of the Department of Political Science and the Federman School of Public Policy, aimed at encouraging research on public policy and public administration

The scholarship is given every few years based upon budget availability. Exact dates will be published.

Priority is given to PhD students and students who do not have substantial additional funding

Bella and Baruch award

MA and PhD students, based upon a research proposal, thesis or graduate seminar paper

The award is given for research proposals or papers focusing on Israeli politics

Applications open in the second semester. Exact dates will be published.

The award is primarily intended for students of the Israeli Democracy and Politics Specialization, however all MA students may apply

Shoshana and Milton Sheir scholarship

MA and PhD students

The scholarship is aimed at encouraging research that focuses on the intersection of Jewish thought and philosophy, theory and / or political practice in Israel

The scholarship committee may decide to award a full or partial scholarship to one or more students.

Outstanding second year BA students

The award is given based upon first year grades. Students are selected based upon a grading scale that is generated at the end of the exam period.

Two to three of the top students will be selected

Kershman award

Outstanding third year BA students

The award is given based upon second year grades. Students are selected based upon a grading scale that is generated a week before the school year begins.

Two to three of the top students will be selected

The department will approach students who are eligible.

Students who continue to an MA research track will be given a continuation award in accordance with the award criteria
